正确的法兰连接操作应按如下步骤进行：

①在小型采暖系统中，可以采用螺纹连接的法兰。

②法兰连接前，应先检查两个法兰是否平行（法兰平行度偏差≯法兰外径的1.5%）和法兰连接面是否清洁。在检查两个法兰螺栓孔同心度时，若螺栓无法穿过，应进行铰孔（而不是扩孔），或者重新调整法兰。

③法兰连接时，应采用同一规格的螺栓；螺栓的垫片只能使用一片；螺栓的插入方向应一致。

④拧紧螺栓应按对称的顺序或十字法顺序，分几次拧紧。紧固后伸出螺母的螺栓长度一般不宜超过螺距的2倍。

 做排水管时注意坡度：尤其是空调冷凝排水管，如果管子比较长，施工质量不好容易妨碍排水，导致返水至冷凝水盘漏水。解决办法：按照设计图纸标示的坡度，定好点，放好线，按照相应的间距，下料做好吊支架。
