What are the key difference between RSSC-SC type and the other types, such as RCCS-D/ RCCS-H?
The SC series is the Stem Cell culture system. Mainly, these operate with either autoclavable vessels in small volumes 1,2,4,10mL, or dispo1sable vessels. These small vessels mean that even with a small starting population of stem cells, the researcher can successfully expand them in culture.
The D series (dispo1sable) offers the researcher the ability to culture cells with our 10mL or 50mL dispo1sable vessels. This 1 is good for ease of use, as the vessels come pre-sterilized and individually wrapped. Also, these systems are cheaper since they do not require heavier pumps to rotate the vessels since they are lighter than the autoclavable vessels.
The H ( or autoclavable options) offer the largest range of sizes 1ml- 500mL vessels. These vessels can be used for a lifetime, and can support larger aggregates and higher expansion of cell number.
Finally, our Perfusion systems allow for automatic media perfusion through the culture, so that the researchers does not have to do this manually. This helps to reduce contamination and manipulation of the culture. We offer different sizes in perfusion vessels and customizable options.
