The new indoor swimming pool in Kantrida is part of a re -qualification design of a beautiful area of Rijeka which includes an existing 50m. outdoor pool and is overlooking the sea. The re-qualification design included the arrangement of the seaside with leisure facilities， the realization of a marina and an Hotel and a promenade， restaurants and meeting places.

‘Edge’: A modern single-family house is perched on the steep limestone cliff of a former quarry. The main body of the building is a tilted rectangular pri***， although from a distance it appears as a sloping roof. The lower edge of the structure meets with the surrounding rocks but does not appear to reach the ground.

Stephaneum is the central lecture building of the Catholic University， containing a large auditorium and several lecture theatres of varying sizes which are arranged in a way that reminds us of houses on a street in a ***all town. The ceiling creates the atmosphere of foliage overhanging the corridors and rooms.The building was designed by Imre Makovecz in 1995. Makovecz was one of the most prominent proponents of organic architecture; and Stephaneum had no doubt built in an organic style.
