INCOLOY? alloy 028 (UNS N08028/W. Nr. 1.4563) isa highly alloyed austenitic

stainless steel offeringresistance to a variety of corrosive media. By virtue

ofits contents of chromium and molybdenum， the alloyoffers resistance to both

oxidizing and reducing acidsand salts. The presence of copper increases

itsresistance to sulfuric acid. The alloy is used in thechemical and

petrochemical processing industry. Alloytubes are cold worked to high strength

levels fordownhole service in moderately corrosive deep sour gaswells
