ASAS技术使用光学颗粒技术原理。该仪器让气溶胶的气流通过激光束,由于颗粒的存在,会引起的光的衰减和散射,根据散射和衰减状况,我们可以测量颗粒的形状和大小。
该仪器不仅能够测定气溶胶颗粒(〈20 mm)的粒径及浓度大小,还可测定测单颗粒气溶胶形状因子。因此,该仪器同常规的气溶胶粒径谱仪相比具有更高的精度及分辨率,能够区分气溶胶和粉末样品的细微差别。
