These economical contacts are designed to "slide-in" to the battery compartment of electronic equipment. The coil spring contacts are designed with a unique spring tension ability and they accurately adjust to variati*** in battery length. Contacts will provide a reliable connection while maintaining a low contact resistance. For either wire lead or PCB mounting "slide-in" battery contacts also come in "solder tab" versi***. "Snap-On" Battery Contacts
Highly reliable, these cost effective leaf spring and button type battery contacts are designed to "snap-on" panels .060 [1.52mm] to .070 [1.78mm] thick, and securely anchor to the flanges in a molded battery compartment. The button type and leaf spring contacts feature a unique "solder-ear" for wire lead attachment. The leaf spring contacts will maintain accurate spring tension and self-adjust to accommodate a variety of battery lengths. The leaf spring contact's unique spring design assures a reliable connection and a low contact resistance. The dual leaf spring contacts for "A" and "AA" cells are ***ailable in two styles. Cat. No. 210 offers rigidity and stability because of a web connecting the two leaf contacts. Cat. No. 288 allows for a wall between the two leaf contacts.
