The precise thickness gauge is a multifunctional usable system for measurement of thickness of various materials. High precision is achieved by using our patented optical measurement method. Compared with conventional touching measurement techniques there is no abrasion occurring.

Process / Properties

The top and the bottom surface of the object to be measured is illuminated with structured light and captured by a single sensor simultaneously. The received signal is proportional to the thickness of the material and independent of the materials surface

The l light-sectioning sensor is applied to contact-free geometry measurement in industrial environment.

Process

The working principle of l is based on light-sectioning. A laser projects a light plane onto the object to be measured. The resulting light section is acquired with an industrial camera. The geometry of the object is determind by processing the camera image.

Characteristics

The l sensor is applied to measure the 3-dimensional geometry of objects. The laser module and/or the camera system are exchangeable. Thus, the sensor can be flexibly customised to various measurement tasks.

torque.mon

The dynamic monitoring of torque plays a decisive role in plant monitoring systems because problems arising in the production process or in the drive components manifest themselves predominantly in the form of torque fluctuati***.

Torque observation can lead to the prevention of breakdowns, to the effect that maintenance times can be planned and production increased.
The torque (or tension) is measured by means of strain gauges. The energy and data transfer occurs without any contact. Operational security is guaranteed because of the robust c***truction. A battery-driven base version provides data for testing and optimization purposes for about one month without changing batteries.
The non-contact data transfer can be used universally. Applicati*** for this transfer system are predominantly in systems where measurements are to be taken on moving parts.

The measurement of the amount of ironfine on the steel strip surface is a very important tool for quality control.
This device offers the possibility to detect iron-fines quickly and precisely.

Process

The new method is based on a standard method for the characterization of steel strip cleanliness, the so called "Scotch-Tape™-Test". For this test a sticky tape (“Scotch Tape TM”) is applied to the steel strip surface and peeled off again. The tape is pushed through the magnetic field of a yoke. The field has to be strong enough to bring the ironfine particles to the state of magnetic saturation. Inside the yoke is a measuring coil, in which a voltage pulse is induced during the pass of the sample. From the intensity of this pulse we are able to calculate the amount of the ironfine on the tape

The Laboratory Roll Coater with three Rolls allows both simulation and reproduction of production-conditi*** of a coil-coating-plant on flat probes, testing and optimisation of enamels (groundings and lacquers) and parameters for industrial coating.

The enamel is evenly spread over the probe by three application rolls and gets stripped off the last roll by a blade, then it returns to the circulation-pump.
A conveyor belt drives the probe through the roll-block where it gets coated by the last application roll with the pre-adjusted coating-film.
