The theory of the LOKRING tube connection technology
The LOKRING functi*** according to known and proven physical rules of material nature and to technical experience. An explanation of the stress in the parts of the LOKRING joining will effect the understanding of and the absolute confidence in this method.
A LOKRING joint is made in the following manner:
The tubes are first telescopically engaged with each other, then the LOKRING is placed in its starting position, i.e. the lagest internal diameter is placed on the flared tube.

Section “A” of the LOKRING allows that the LOKRING is moved easily onto the outer tube and this outer tube is reduced during the assembly until a force fit between the parts of the tube is made. The two tubular parts are now kept in an elastic pressure position which works against the tension in the LOKRING.
The two tubes are now in intimate contact, and their diameter must now be reduced to form the actual joint.

The cylindrical part “B” accomodates a high flexible strength and is resistant against the torsion forces, of which the joint can be compliant.
As the LOKRING is further moved to its final assembly position, both tubes are steadily deformed by the LOKRING, whereby section “C” of the LOKRING further reduces the tubular parts with its ***allest internal diameter, so the main sealing region is formed.
