The Gear coupling c***ists of crowned outer gears of hubs and inner gears of sleeve and both sides are engaged each other. Adjustment of axial misalignment and torque tran***ission are done with the coupling mechani*** installed at two places where angular misalignment is adjusted by cog slip. The structural angular misalignment is allowable between 1° and 6°. The features of the gear coupling are; compact, large tran***ission power and high reliability. However, lubrication and maintenance will be required. |

(Patented product – USA, 3 European countries, and Asian countries) BS coupling is c***tructed with barrel springs inserted through spring holes with pins which are supported by flanges. The large-diameter part of the spring is supported by retaining holes of hubs and by means of deflection of the barrel springs perpendicular to the spring axis, the spring coupling can adjust shaft misalignment and at the same time tran***it shaft torque. In order to prevent damage caused by rust on the springs, grease should be applied to the springs in early phase of installation. After lubrication, no maintenance will be required for two years. In some case, no maintenance was required for More than five years in our past experience. |
