1、检查钢丝刷的固定螺栓有无松动，传动部分润滑和封闭式防护罩及排尘设备等完好情况。
2、操作人员必须束紧袖口，带防尘口罩、手套和防护眼镜。
3、严禁将弯钩成型的钢筋上机除锈。弯度过大的钢筋宜在基本调直后除锈。
4、操作时应将钢筋放平，手握紧，侧身送料，严禁在除锈机正面站人。整根长钢筋除锈应由两人配合操作，互相呼应。
