1.  The body of the belts are grey/green thermoset polyurethane 88 ShA, characterised by high levels of wear resistance even in the presence of shock and surge loading. The thermoset polyurethane is obtained by mixing a prepolymer with a bonding compound and heating the mixture. After cooling down to ambient temperature, the result is a polyurethane with good chemical and mechanical characteristics giving the belt high performances and extended lifetime.
2.  High strength helically wound zinked steel tension members allow high breaking load and extremely low elongation.
