Megadyne ribbed belts are endless rubber belts with longitudinal V shaped grooves. PV belts provide high flexibility and great power performance as they combine the benefits of flat and V belts.

THE BODY
The belt body made of a special rubber compound which provides, due to its excellent mechanical characteristics, high tra***ission efficiency and assures a minimum rubber wear off;
TENSILE MEMBER
Tensile member c***isting in high-strength lowstretch co***, which grant length stability over the belt life time.
BELT BACK
Fabric jacket or cover made of fabric, protecting the tensile.

PV V-ribbed belts are made of polybutadiene compound.
PV belts design:
- eliminates belt matching;
- permits drive design to meet exact power or space requirements;
- distributes the drive load across the entire belt width;
- permits cooler running and high drive efficiency;
- excels on ***all pulleys at high speeds;
- compact ***ooth running drive system with low vibration;
- linear belt speeds up to 60 m/s are possible;
- high tran***ission ratio;
- resistance to temperatures from –30 to +80 ºC;
- power performance can be improved by increasing the number of ribs;
- antistatic properties according to ISO 1813.

High performance PV-ribbed belts are produced in H, J, L and m profiles (K on request).
PV-ribbed belts are also ***ailable in elastic version (tem) and they are suitable in the tran***ission where fixed centre distance is required.
The tem belt is developed according to customer requirements.
