The EDPB-A series of expansion roller bearing pillow blocks with single locking collar is designed for use in conjunction with the DRPB-A series
where a “floating” or expansion type block is required.
Matching mounting dimensi*** provides for ease in application.
While two fixed units mounted on one shaft are normally satisfactory for most applicati***, expansion units are recommended:
1. Where bearing supports are not rigid.
2. Where significant temperature differentials are expected between shafts and mounting structures.
3. Where shaft is unusually long.
At least one bearing on each shaft must be of the fixed type.
