在厦门ABB开关有限公司的生产车间里，每年有许多不同规格型号的开关柜在这里完成生产、组装。而开关柜不可或缺的一部分就是钣金件。这些钣金件既像开关柜的脸面和皮肤，是柜子“颜值”，体现着ABB***的折弯工艺和注重细节的品质保证;又像开关柜的骨骼，承载起整个柜子的结构。
先来看看开关柜钣金件的生产流程吧!首先要把一块金属板进行冲切，然后根据图纸的形状进行折弯，折弯完成后在装配线根据整个折弯的构造进行拼装，组成整个柜体。

厦门ABB开关的生产车间里使用的金属板材***大的能达到长2.5米，宽1.5米，重量可达40公斤以上。对于操作工人来说，仅靠人工徒手的力量，难以操作翻面;并且需要工人手扶折弯产品进行旋转等操作，本身就不可避免的存在安全隐患。有时，难免还会出现因为人员疏忽导致弯错面或者弯错刀的情况，影响产品质量，产品因而不得不被报废。

现在，生产车间采用ABB的IRB 4600机器人进行生产操作，主要有四大优点。首先，员工整体的职业健康水平和工作环境有了很大的提升。员工与钣金件折弯机隔离，在安全性上得到了保障。同时，也省下了该台机床的辅助人工成本，在提高自动化的同时降低了劳动力费用的支出。并且，采用机器人后可以实现无人化操作，24小时不间断生产成为了可能，提高了开关柜整体的生产效率。***重要的是，整个产品质量维持在稳定的可控制的水平，极大降低了问题产品率。
无人化操作的未来
在未来的2020到2025年期间，厦门ABB开关工厂将实现钣金整个车间的无人化生产和高度自动化生产，大大减少现场操作人员的数量，而且能够更加稳定地链接整个自动化运输系统AGV，实现从冲床到仓库到折弯再到半成品仓库整体无人化操作。
