Stephaneum is the central lecture building of the Catholic University， containing a large auditorium and several lecture theatres of varying sizes which are arranged in a way that reminds us of houses on a street in a ***all town. The ceiling creates the atmosphere of foliage overhanging the corridors and rooms.The building was designed by Imre Makovecz in 1995. Makovecz was one of the most prominent proponents of organic architecture; and Stephaneum had no doubt built in an organic style.
