方向控制阀是液压系统中占数量比重较大的液压阀，它是利用阀芯与阀体间相对位置的改变来实现油路的接通或断开，以满足系统对油流方向的要求。它分为单向阀和换向阀两类。
单向阀是控制油液单方向流动的控制阀，它分为普通单向阀和液控单向阀两种。普通单向阀通常简称单向阀，它是控制液压油液从一个方向能通过反向则不能通过的，故又称止回阀或逆止阀。单向阀的主要性能要求是：油液通过时压力损失要小，反向截止时密封性要好；动作灵敏；工作时没有撞击和噪声。

①钢球密封式单向阀结构简单、制造工艺简便，但密封性较差，由于无导向，易产生振动，一般用于流量小及要求不高的场合。
②锥阀芯密封式单向阀正向通油的阻力小，有导向，密封性能好，但加工工艺要求严格，阀体孔和阀座孔必须有较高的同轴度，一般在高压大流量有柱塞泵的场合采用。
产品特点：
单向阀是气流只能一个方向流动而不能反向流动的方向控制阀。其工作原理与液压单向阀一样。压缩空气从P口进入，克服弹簧力和摩擦力使单向阀阀口开启，压缩空气从P流至A；当P口无压缩空气时，在弹簧力和A口(腔)余气力作用下；阀口处于关闭状 态，使从A至P气流不通。单向阀应用于不允许气流反向流动的场合，如空压机向气罐充气 时，在空压机与气罐之间设置一单向阀，当空压机停止工作时，可防止气罐中的压缩空气回流 到空压机。单向阀还常与节流阀、顺序阀等组合成单向节流阀、单向顺序阀使用。

1.浮动密封圈，防止污染物影响密封；
2.大工作压力：414 bar (6000 psig)；
3.多种端接和阀体材料。

（1）若将单向阀安装在泵的出口处，可以防止系统的压力突然升高而损坏油泵，即起止回作用。
（2）若将单向阀与节流阀或减压阀并联，可构成执行机构正向慢速，反向快速；或者正向减速，反向自由流通回路。
（3）若将单向阀与压力阀串联起来，可逐步提高调整压力，防止压力的反作用。
（4）对于液控制单向阀，可以利用控制油路开启单向阀，以达到使油液能反向流动的目的。
