电动套筒调节阀在管道中一般应该水平安装。工作电源：AC22V 380V等电压等级。 通过接收工业自动化控制系统的信号(如：4~20mA)来驱动阀门改变阀芯和阀座之间的截面积大小,控制管道介质的流量、温度、压力等工艺参数。实现自动化调节功能。 间接作用式调节阀，增加了一个指挥器(先导阀)它起到对反馈信号的放大作用然后通过执行机构，驱动主阀阀瓣运动达到改变阀开度的目的。 直接作用式又称为弹簧负载式，其结构内有弹性元如：弹簧、波纹管、波纹管式的温包等，利用弹性力与反馈信号平衡的原理。 如果是压力调节阀，反馈信号就是阀的出口压力，通过信号管引入执行机构。 如果是流量调节阀，阀的出口处就有一个孔板(或者是其他阻力装置)由孔板两端取出压差信号引入执行机构。 如果是温度调节阀，阀的出口就有温度传感器(或者温包)通过温度传感器内介质的热胀冷缩驱动执行机构
