转鼓格栅机，由于它的特殊设计结构，安装与众不同，废水流向成“Z”字型，所以能截留如毛发状的细纤维，固体回收率可高达97％，由于有可靠的压榨功能，固体***终含水率可达55～65％，该设备的安装角与水平面成35°，安装在水渠中，污水从圆筒形格栅端头流入栅内，通过侧面栅缝流出，而污水中的垃圾杂物等被圆形格栅条截住，齿形刮板以一定的转速将栅渣刮至筒内的集渣槽内，并通过上方的尼龙刷和冲洗水喷出，被清除的栅渣通过螺旋输送、挤压、脱水、运至上端排渣斗排出。
