它结构紧凑（40 x 50mm），集成度高，仅需很少的外部元件。它适于整合到嵌入式系统和OEM设备之中。它具有105个用户I/O引脚。
Xilinx Artix-7 FPGA与512MB高速1.6GB/s DDR3存储器相结合。FPGA可以通过8MB板上闪存、USB或JTAG进行编程。它可以用作外部器件的可编程接口，适于高速处理流数据以及数据采集与控制。
该模块还采用Cypress FX3 USB控制器芯片，预装了优化固件来充当FPGA和主机之间的通信桥。该控制器提供了灵活的高速流接口和其它低速控制与状态接口。
