1、一般贸易进口冷冻水产品海鲜前，需要确认本批次进口的水产品品种是否在质检总局颁布的目录允许范围内。否则会造成退运，造成费时费力以及经济损失；
2、在冷冻水产品进口前需要输华检验检疫准入资格；
3、确认本批次、本类别进口水产品是否是进口。如果是进口，由总局***开展风险分析确定其风险控制措施，并输华检验检疫准入资格后方能进口。如果非进口，就可以按照一般的进口水产品进口流程办理。
4、对于不清楚此类进口水产品品种是否为进口的，可以致电。而对于进口冷冻水产品海鲜的个人或者进出口贸易公司，由于***的进口水产品操作和进口流程的了解，不能独自进行进口的情况。可以委托冷冻水产品进出口代理公司进行代理进口，一站式进口，快捷风险低
