韩国工程塑料POM均聚甲醛1959年发明,由甲醛溶液与***反应,经过脱水、热裂解得到精制甲醛,然后在催化剂作用下进行液相聚合,聚合后用醋酐酯化封端。均聚甲醛的结晶度高,分子量分布较窄。其产品相对密度约为1.4,熔点为170-185℃,特点是有优异的刚性,拉伸强度可达68.9MPa,具有优异的刚性,拉伸强度高,单位质量的拉伸强度高于锌和黄铜,接近钢材,而且耐磨性能好、耐疲劳强度和蠕变性均好,摩擦系数小,但是热稳定性差、不耐酸碱。目前均聚甲醛约占聚甲醛总产量的20%。
