Magnetic Candle Filters are used to filter out ferritic particles from cooling lubricants.
Function:
The specific arrangement of magnetic candle filters in the main stream of soiled cooling lubricant causes ferritic floating particles to be exposed to the maximum possible attraction force generated by the magnetic filter candles. This results in them being extracted from the liquid effectively.
Structure:
Magnetic filter candles are ***ailable in two different basic designs:
MFK Design:
The magnetic candle filters are positioned in a circular arrangement

MFK...R Design:
The magnetic candle filters are positioned in a linear arrangement
Magnetic Filter Rolls are designed for automatic cleansing of cooling lubricants. They are used in honing, grinding, deep drilling and turning machines as well as in tempering and washing plants, where ferritic floating particles are to be extracted from the coolant through filtration.
Suitable for a continuous purification of soiled cooling lubricants which are produced during the operation of machine tools. It makes sense to use such a Drum Filter with high throughput rates, simply because the throughput in a Drum Filter is 3 or 4 times higher than in a Gr***itation Band Filter while the filtration area is identical and no filtration means are c***umed by the Drum Filter
